When i got offered the poistion of Office Manager in Inverurie, i realised it was finally my chance to learn to drive! I will have the money, and the reason to do so.
I immediately hunted ont eh web for driving in instructors and got a pack through, and then had a few phone calls. So i will have a lovely guy called Chris, who is based in inverurie and can pick me up from work. He seems happy to let me have frequent lesson so thats good. I was hopign for at least 2 a week, and possibly 2 hours at a time, but we’ll see once i go for my first lesson.
No one problem with getting my provisional is that I am using my passport as ID. Now my passort is under Rowan Evenstar Harding, and i now no lnger use Harding. So i took time off work (to do other things too) and went to get a name change form like hte one i had used to get it tot htat name in the first place. Problem is a. i didnt have my birth certificate with me, and b. a justice of the peace has to sign it. At they seem to only pop out their caves between 9.30 am and 11am. So knowing i coudlnt really take anymore time off work, i just wrote out a new set of forms with Harding in them and sent them off. I can change it all later (at a cost), but at least i get my provisional asap, and can call Chris as soon as i have it.
